We need YOUR help in our effort to move our shop to ZERO Waste...
Wood - We need to find an outlet for all of the lumber we can’t re-use. We have heard that some facilities are able to
grind the wood, remove the metals and then sell it to a mulch company.
Plastic - We need to find an outlet for our waste visqueen (this is the plastic sheeting we use below slabs).
If you know anyone who can help us, please let us know.

· We provide a living wage to all employees. In addition we

· We provide ongoing training to our employees in safety.
· We provide college scholarships to all of our employee’s
children, giving their children an opportunity that many of

Our Community· We support the Guardian ad Litem program through
volunteering and the Christmas Gift Program. Last year,
we sponsored 10 children for Christmas.
· We support the America’s Second Harvest of Tampa
Bay food bank with their Annual Lucky Ducky Derby by
participating as an event team leader and providing
the boats and crew for the ducks to race down the river.
· We also regularly donate and support All Children’s
Hospital, Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, University
of South Florida athletics and other worthwhile causes.

· We use cloth napkins, towels and washcloths in our office
bathroom and kitchen.
· We use 100% recycled paper for our general printing and
we print on both sides of the page whenever possible.
· We have 1 hybrid vehicle on the road. Our goal is to
convert to more gas efficient fleet as we complete the
life cycle of our current fleet.
· We have reduced our electrical usage tremendously by
utilizing natural lighting and ventilation whenever possible.
When we do have to run the air conditioning, we set our
thermostat at 80° for cooling and 68° for heating. |
